Job Summary
Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) for a new pediatric patient requiring a feeding tube in Palmyra, VA. Day shift coverage on Wednesday and Thursday with flexible options including full-time, part-time, or PRN. Responsibilities include delivering home-based nursing care to a child with feeding tube needs, maintaining documentation via an Aveanna tablet, coordinating with care teams to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes, and adhering to licensure, vaccination, and health requirements. Eligible applicants hold an active RN license, CPR, and TB test within the required timeframe; caregivers may have access to skill advancement and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification (hands-on component)
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Compact licenses must be transferred to state of residence within 90 days
