Job Summary
Provide high-acuity private duty nursing care for toddlers with tracheostomies and ventilators in New Market. Perform daily clinical assessments, administer medications, and manage complex homecare needs for patients with advanced respiratory support. Maintain electronic documentation via tablet devices and ensure strict compliance with infection control protocols including TB testing and vaccinations. Deliver compassionate, individualized care plans that prioritize patient safety and family support within the home setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Must have reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
