Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing care to a pediatric client in the home setting in accordance with the physician's plan of care. Deliver initial and ongoing patient assessments, administer medications and therapies as ordered, monitor developmental and medical needs, and maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic home environment. Communicate effectively with family and the care team; ensure timely, accurate nursing notes and documentation meeting regulatory standards. Requires active SC RN or LPN license, CPR, and pediatric experience; developmentally-focused care is strongly preferred. Schedule typically includes Monday-Friday with options for full-time or part-time positions; travel nursing is listed as a possible job type.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active RN or LPN license in South Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- Pediatric experience required (1 year minimum)
- Experience with developmental disorders strongly preferred
- Home health or private duty nursing experience is a plus
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
