Job Summary
Private Duty Nurse RN position providing home-based and school-based nursing care in East Stroudsburg, PA (and related Easton area). Responsibilities center on delivering compassionate, patient-focused nursing services in patients' homes and school settings, collaborating with a team of clinicians to achieve positive clinical outcomes, maintaining electronic documentation, and adhering to licensing, vaccination, and TB testing requirements. Requires an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and ability to support flexible scheduling across day and night shifts; position offers full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities with options for weekend shifts and weekly/daily pay, along with benefits and career development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in practicing state
- Compact licenses must be transferred to state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification with hands-on component
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Compliance with health-related requirements for Medicare/Medicaid funding (vaccinations/testing as appropriate)
