Job Summary
Provide in-home private duty nursing care as part of Aveanna's patient-focused homecare team. The role requires an active LPN/LVN license (or RN) in the practicing state, with flexible scheduling including days, nights, and weekends. The position emphasizes in-home visits supported by electronic documentation via a tablet in each patient’s home. CPR certification is required (Aveanna can assist in obtaining if needed), and applicants should have reliable transportation. The care team collaborates to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes and supports career advancement within a nationwide homecare provider. Minimum hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
