Job Summary
Private Duty Nurse RN position providing home- and school-based nursing care in East Stroudsburg, PA and Lake Hopatcong, NJ. LPN/LVN licenses accepted per posting, with team-based care to achieve excellent clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include delivering in-home/homecare nursing, coordinating care, and supporting patients across day, night, and weekend shifts with flexible scheduling. Utilize electronic documentation via tablet, maintain high standards of safety and infection control, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor patient status, and communicate with families and the care team. Requires active licensure (LPN/LVN) in the practice state, CPR certification with hands-on component, TB test within 12 months, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to patient homes and school settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification (hands-on component)
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
