Job Summary
Provide in-home nursing care as a Private Duty Nurse (RN) for patients served by Aveanna. The role involves delivering compassionate homecare, coordinating with clinicians, ensuring clinical outcomes, and supporting patients and families across flexible schedules (days, nights, weekends) with options for full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts. Must hold an active RN license, have CPR certification, demonstrate reliable transportation, and meet TB testing requirements. Prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required. The job emphasizes safety, documentation (using tablets in patients' homes), and adherence to health-related requirements and vaccines as applicable by jurisdiction.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state
- Compact licenses must be transferred to state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (hands-on component)
- TB skin test (within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to comply with health-related requirements and vaccinations as applicable to jurisdictions (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid)
