Job Summary
Private Duty Nurse RN opportunity delivering in-home and school-based care. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate documentation (including electronic documentation via a tablet in patients' homes), collaborating with families and healthcare teams, and supporting patient safety and well-being across day, night, and weekend shifts. Requires an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, TB testing, reliable transportation, and ability to work in private duty home settings and schools; flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, or PRN) is available to accommodate patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the practicing state
- Compact licenses must be transferred to state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (hands-on component)
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
