Private Duty Nurse LPN

Job Summary
Deliver in-home LPN/LVN nursing care on overnight, day, or weekend shifts for Aveanna’s private duty nursing clients. Must hold an active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, with compact-license transfer within 90 days, and maintain CPR certification and a current TB test. The role supports electronic documentation from patients' homes and involves collaboration with a broader clinical team; flexibility includes full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules with days, nights, and weekends. Training and career-path opportunities are noted, with emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care and adherence to health-related requirements across jurisdictions. Prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required; reliable transportation is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
