Job Summary
Perform physical and health assessments, administer medications, and provide counseling and education to patients. Coordinate care with healthcare professionals, document nursing notes daily, and manage trach care, suctioning, and ventilator-dependent patients. Lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods while delivering personalized interventions. Join Always Compassionate Health as an LPN or RN with active NYS licensure and at least one year of homecare experience. Flexible shifts available in Suffolk County, NY, with competitive hourly rates starting at $35 for LPNs and $45 for RNs.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN License issued by NYS
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a homecare setting
- Current BLS Certification
- Empathy
- Reliability
- Commitment to high-quality care
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand/work for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with trach care and suctioning
- Additional experience with ventilator-dependent patients
- G-tube care
