Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one personal care for clients at home, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfer, and mobility assistance. Prepare meals, assist with light housekeeping, and provide medication reminders and companionship. Help clients with errands or appointments as specified in their care plan. Communicate clearly with the office regarding client changes, concerns, or schedule issues. Maintain a professional, dependable attitude while treating each home with respect. Requires an active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate, successful background screening, CPR certification, and relevant training.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
- Successful Level II Background Screening
- Recent TB screening
- Classroom CPR certification
- HIV/AIDS training
- Alzheimer's and Related Dementias training
- Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication training
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Experience caring for seniors or adults who need personal care assistance
- Strong communication skills
- Professional and dependable attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort with pets preferred
