Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support while preparing meals, administering medication reminders, and performing light housekeeping. Accompany clients to appointments and community activities, observing and reporting condition changes to the care team. Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols with RN oversight and clinical support on every case. Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality while working independently. Shifts include Thursday 10 AM–2 PM in Rocky River, Monday–Friday 10 AM–4 PM in Westlake, and 24/7 Saturday/Sunday 12-hour shifts in North Ridgeville. Requires high school diploma, current CPR certification, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently while following client care plans
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one year of caregiving, home care, assisted living, or direct care experience
- HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training
