Job Summary
As a Private Cloud Designer, you will drive technical and architectural decisions for Private Cloud and Identity Services, focusing on creating secure, scalable systems. Key responsibilities include designing secure architectures for private cloud infrastructure, identity services, and End User Compute solutions, ensuring compliance with security policies. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong expertise in private cloud technologies, identity governance, and automation practices. You will engage closely with various stakeholders to facilitate effective cloud deployments and contribute to strategic architecture decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience designing and delivering solutions across private cloud infrastructure and identity platforms.
- Experience designing and transforming large‐scale infrastructure and identity services across public and private cloud.
- Hands‐on experience in automation, orchestration, and CI/CD, including source control and configuration management best practices.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong experience with VMware/Hyper‐V, virtualised environments, multitenant platforms, storage, and modern private cloud technologies.
- Expertise in IAM technologies, including Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA, federation, and identity governance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including O365 administration, Exchange/Email, Intune, SharePoint, and related governance tools.
- Experience with FinOps principles for optimising cloud and identity service costs.
- Demonstrated adaptability across multiple toolsets and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
