Job Summary
Act as a key point of contact for private clients, building trusted long-term relationships alongside Partners while taking overall responsibility for delivery, technical excellence, and commercial awareness. Lead on complex tax matters, manage client portfolios including WIP and cash collection, and review team work to ensure quality and compliance. Support Partners on client matters and practice leadership, while actively identifying business development opportunities to grow the Private Client practice. Lead, coach, and motivate Managers and senior team members, delivering technical training and managing succession planning. Represent the firm externally through networking and presentations, collaborating with specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Degree educated
- CTA
- ACA
- equivalent professionally qualified
- Significant post-qualified experience within Private Client Tax
- Strong technical expertise with experience advising on complex tax matters
- Proven ability to manage and develop key client relationships
- Demonstrable track record of supporting Partners and contributing to business growth
- Strong commercial awareness and business development capability
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to drive improvements, champion change and lead complex projects and client engagements
