Job Summary
Conduct client meetings to establish advice on wills, succession planning, inheritance tax, trusts, and estate administration. Manage varied caseloads from initial instruction through completion, instructing barristers for complex disputes and drafting tailored documents. Advise clients on legal issues, research case law, and ensure compliance with SRA standards while meeting billing targets. Support trainee solicitors and paralegals in departmental development. This hybrid role is based in Leeds or Nottingham for a developing private client lawyer.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4yr PQE Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Ability to build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships within all aspects of the business
- Ability to always exercise discretion and professionalism
- Work diligently and in good faith within the general working practices required of a qualified solicitor
- Ability to work as part of a team, whilst being able to work efficiently on own initiative
