Job Summary
Manage your own caseload of private client matters, including drafting wills and trusts, preparing probate applications, and administering estates of varying complexity. Advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney, contentious and non-contentious probate matters, and applications to the Court of Protection for elderly and vulnerable clients. Prepare deeds of variation and advise on gifts while liaising with solicitors, the Probate Registry, Land Registry, and Office of the Public Guardian. Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals where required. Requires at least 2 years' PQE as a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with broad experience across private client work. Competitive salary dependent on experience, 28 days' holiday including bank holidays, and clear long-term progression including potential to lead the department.
