Job Summary
Private Client Banker at Chase in Woodland Park, NJ, responsible for managing affluent clients' banking relationships and providing consultative, relationship-driven service. The role includes soliciting referrals, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), collaborating with a team of experts for specialized financial needs, and ensuring regulatory banking requirements are met. Requires a value-added, relationship-oriented sales approach with 1+ year banking/financial services sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver memorable client experiences. Must meet licensing requirements (SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration; Life licenses) and complete JPMorganChase’s licensing program within 180 days; willingness to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings. Preferred qualifications include a college degree or military equivalent and experience with affluent clients; regulatory conformance under Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act and NMLS/SAFE Act obligations.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses though JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided.
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008; must register or update registration upon active employment with JPMorganChase; compliance with SAFE Act including annual renewal and updates.
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
