Job Summary
Private Client Banker in Westminster, CA serves as the primary contact for a select group of Chase’s affluent clients within the branch, managing their banking relationships with an advice-based approach and proactively generating growth in balances. The role involves acquiring new clients through referrals, coordinating with Specialists (Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, Business Relationship Managers), and enabling clients to access self-service options around the clock while complying with banking regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses required or must be completed within 180 days of starting
- Compliance with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 (required upon active employment); timely renewal and updates
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
- College degree or military equivalent (preferred)
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
