Job Summary
Private Client Banker in Chase's Branch Banking team serves a select group of affluent clients, managing complete banking relationships with an advisory, education-focused approach. The role involves actively acquiring new clients and referrals, partnering with Specialists (Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, Business Relationship Managers) to connect clients with experts, promoting self-service options for 24/7 access, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong relationship-building, communication, and revenue-generation skills are essential, as is familiarity with banking products and regulatory frameworks like SIE, FINRA Series 6/7, Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act, and NMLS SAFE Act requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation
- SIE exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses are required or must be completed within 180 days of starting the role
- Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008
Additional Requirements
- Felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify from consideration
- This position requires NMLS registration and ongoing compliance with SAFE Act requirements
- Background/credit checks and review of NMLS information may impact employment
