Job Summary
Private Client Banker in Branch Banking is the main point of contact for a select group of Chase’s affluent clients, managing their complete banking relationship, proactively generating growth in balances, soliciting referrals, and coordinating with Specialists to connect clients to experts for specialized needs. The role emphasizes an advice-based approach, helping clients access self-service options and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. Strong communication, relationship-building, and adherence to policies are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Beginning Oct. 1, 2018, if you are not currently registered, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses are required - or must be successfully completed within 180 days of starting the role
- Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
- Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position
- NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 will be required upon active employment and ongoing updates
