Job Summary
Private Client Banker responsible for delivering plan-based financial advice and a full client-relations experience to individuals and businesses in the Key Private Client Program. Focuses on the entire client relationship, identifying wellness opportunities, and referring appropriate investment, insurance, mortgage, and private banking products to meet client needs. Builds a referral pipeline through prospecting and centers of influence, maintains deep product knowledge, opens consumer and small business accounts, and collaborates with branch teammates and partner groups to deepen client relationships. Maintains compliance with operational, risk, and audit procedures and supports branch operations as needed. Requires FINRA licenses (S6, S63, SIE) and Life/Health insurance licenses; base compensation ranges from $25.00 to $38.46 per hour with potential incentive/commission; location: Fairport, NY at a branch, with in-person duties and Saturdays as directed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required)
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- FINRA License S6 Upon Hire (required)
- FINRA License S63 Upon Hire (required)
- FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) Upon Hire (required)
- Life and Health Insurance Licenses Upon Hire (required)
- Experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals and building referral sources in insurance and investment products (required)
- Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients (required)
- Interpersonal interaction skills to build rapport quickly (required)
- Ability to influence partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking sales professionals (required)
- Working knowledge of PCs and digital platforms (required)
