Job Summary
Private Client Banker in Palo Alto targets affluent clients within a Chase branch. Responsible for managing client banking relationships with an advice-based approach, generating growth in balances, acquiring new clients through referrals and internal/external sources, coordinating with Specialists for specialized needs, and facilitating self-service access for clients 24/7 while complying with banking regulations and internal policies. Requires experience in financial services, relevant licenses or timely completion, and availability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings. Strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills are preferred; college degree or military equivalent is noted as a preferred qualification.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses are required - or must be completed within 180 days of starting the role
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
