Job Summary
Private Client Banker in North County Market (Carlsbad, CA) serves a select group of Chase’s affluent clients, managing their banking relationship with an advice-based approach, partnering with Specialists to connect clients to experts, and facilitating convenient self-service access 24/7. Responsibilities include acquiring new clients through referrals, deepening existing relationships, advising on products and services to meet clients’ financial needs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory banking requirements. Required qualifications include 1+ year in branch banking with proven new client acquisition, SIE/Series 6/7 and state licensing (or completion within 180 days), adherence to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act, and the ability to work branch hours including weekends. Preferred qualifications include college degree, experience with affluent clients, and a strong team orientation. This is a full-time role located in Carlsbad, CA, focused on relationship-based financial guidance and consistent client service within Chase Private Client framework.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience
- SIE exam and FINRA Series 6/7 (or must be completed within 180 days)
- State registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses
- NMLS registration under SAFE Act
- Adherence to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act compliance
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- College degree or military equivalent (preferred)
- Experience cultivating relationships with affluent clients
