Job Summary
Private Client Banker in a Chase branch oversees banking relationships for affluent clients, providing education and advice tailored to clients' financial needs, coordinating with Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers to connect clients with specialists, and promoting self-service options. The role emphasizes relationship-building, recruiting new clients, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations. Required: 1+ year of branch banking or equivalent experience, SIE exam, FINRA Series 6/7 (and state registration if required) and Life licenses or completion within 180 days, adherence to Dodd-Frank/TILA, and a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred); must be able to work weekends/evenings; NMLS registration is required after starting.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam
- FINRA Series 6/7; state registration (63/66 if required) and Life licenses
- Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
