Job Summary
Private Client Banker in a Chase branch serves a select group of affluent clients, managing their complete banking relationship with an advice-based approach. Responsibilities include acquiring new clients through referrals, partnering with specialists (Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, Business Relationship Managers) to connect clients with experts, enabling 24/7 self-service access, and adhering to banking policies and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes relationship-building, proactive account management, and cross-sharing of products and services to meet clients’ financial needs.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- FINRA Series 6/7
- state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act compliance
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- College degree or military equivalent (preferred)
- Experience cultivating relationships with affluent clients
- Strong team orientation with a commitment of long-term career with the firm
