Job Summary
Private Client Banker in Branch Banking at Chase leads and manages banking relationships for affluent clients, using an advice-based approach to recommend products and services, partnering with Specialists to connect clients to experts for specialized needs, and helping clients access self-service options 24/7. The role requires active client acquisition and revenue generation, adherence to regulatory banking requirements, and flexibility to work hours including weekends and some evenings. Candidates should have 1+ year of branch banking or equivalent experience in financial services, and be prepared to obtain required licenses (SIE, Series 6/7, and Life) within 180 days if not already held. The position emphasizes building lasting relationships, soliciting referrals, ensuring compliance, and pursuing a long-term career with the firm. Knowledge of Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act and NMLS registration is relevant, with continued emphasis on financial responsibility and good character.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses required or must be completed within 180 days of starting the role
- Compliance with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings

- NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 (upon active employment) and annual renewals
