Job Summary
Private Client Banker in Branch Banking serves as the main point of contact for Chase’s affluent clients and other customers, managing complete banking relationships with an advice-based approach, driving growth in balances, proactively soliciting referrals, and coordinating with Specialists to connect clients to experts for specialized financial needs. The role emphasizes delivering education and advice tailored to individual financial needs, promoting self-service options, and ensuring compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Strong emphasis on relationship-building, communication, and collaboration with internal teams to enhance client experience and long-term financial partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation
- SIE exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses required - or must be completed within 180 days of starting the role
- Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
- College degree or military equivalent (preferred)
- Experience cultivating relationships with affluent clients (preferred)
