Job Summary
Private Client Banker position at Chase Branch in Brooklyn, NY, responsible for managing the complete banking relationship for affluent clients, soliciting referrals, and delivering advisory-based banking solutions. Duties include educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), learning and recommending products and services, maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with a team of experts to meet client financial needs. Requires relationship-building skills, ability to acquire and deepen client relationships, and strong communication, with flexibility to work in branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in Financial Services sales experience with proven success in acquiring new clients, deepening relationships, and revenue generation
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses though JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided.
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008; must register or update registration upon active employment; compliance with SAFE Act, including annual renewal and updates
