Job Summary
Private Client Banker in Houston, TX at JPMorgan Chase. Builds and manages relationships with affluent clients, providing education and tailored advice to meet financial needs while partnering with Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers to connect clients with specialized experts. Drives growth by proactively soliciting referrals, expanding client relationships, and offering self-service options for account access around the clock. Ensures compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements; requires 1+ year of branch banking experience, SIE/Series 6/7 and state licenses (or completion within 180 days), and a high school degree or GED. Note: role involves working hours including weekends and some evenings.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses are required - or must be completed within 180 days of starting the role
- Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
Additional Requirements
- Felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify from consideration
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance
