Job Summary
Listen for clues for financial wellness opportunities during client conversations and provide effective, customized recommendations. Deliver and refer appropriate financial solutions to clients with up to $2M in investable assets by assessing needs and documenting data. Open personal and business accounts, including deposit products and lending, while referring investment and insurance products to appropriate sales professionals. Build a client referral pipeline by identifying centers of influence and employing a disciplined approach to prospecting. Ensure compliance with operational procedures and support branch operations, including assisting with client transactions on the teller line. Work Saturdays as directed and participate in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in developing current and new customer relationships
- Experience achieving sales goals
- Experience building referral sources in insurance and investment products
- Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting and networking
- Comfortable interacting with small business clients, overcoming objection, and asking fact-finding questions with the goal of being helpful
- Interpersonal interaction skills and an ability to build rapport in matter of minutes
- Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence
- Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.)
- Working knowledge of digital technology (mobile, apps, web-based browsing) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms and capabilities within Key
- FINRA License S6
- FINRA License S63
- FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE)
- Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to routinely and frequently operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to work on Saturdays as directed by management
- Ability to perform prolonged standing (5-8 hours per day)
- Ability to lift 1 – 10 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally bend and lift from floor height
- Ability to perform frequent forward reach
- Ability to communicate face to face and on the phone with clients
- Ability to act professionally at all times
