Job Summary
Private Client Banker in Branch Banking responsible for managing a select group of affluent clients and other customers by building long-term banking relationships, providing education and advice tailored to financial needs, and collaborating with Specialists (Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers) to connect clients with experts. The role emphasizes proactive, advice-based relationship management, promoting self-service access to accounts, and adherence to banking policies and regulatory requirements. The position requires demonstrated success in relationship-based client acquisition, a minimum of 1+ year in branch banking or related financial services, licensing or progression toward required securities and life licenses, and compliance with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act rules. The candidate should be capable of operating within branch hours (including weekends and some evenings) and cultivating relationships with affluent clients while pursuing long-term career growth within the firm.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses required starting Oct 1, 2018 - or must be completed within 180 days of starting the role
- Compliance with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act requirements
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
