Job Summary
Private Client Banker in Brooklyn branch: primary contact for a select group of Chase’s affluent clients, managing complete banking relationships with an advice-based approach, collaborating with specialists to connect clients to experts, promoting self-service access, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. Responsibilities include acquiring new clients, growing balances, soliciting referrals, and maintaining client relationships and revenue generation through a value-added, relationship-oriented approach. Requires a minimum of 1+ year in branch banking or equivalent financial services experience, and completion of required regulatory licenses within 180 days if not already held.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses required by Oct 1, 2018 or must be completed within 180 days of starting
- Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
