Job Summary
Private Client Banker in Branch Banking at Chase responsibilities include managing a select group of affluent clients, proactively growing client balances, acquiring new clients through referrals, and coordinating with Specialists to connect customers to experts for specialized financial needs. The role emphasizes an advice-based approach to deliver the best products and services, enabling clients to access accounts 24/7 via self-service options, while complying with banking regulations and internal policies. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, a history of successful client acquisition, and ability to work flexible hours (including weekends/evenings) are key. Additional compliance with SIE/Series 6/7/NMLS requirements and Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank obligations will be required.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation
- Beginning Oct. 1, 2018, if you are not currently registered, the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses are required - or must be successfully completed within 180 days of starting the role
- Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
- College degree or military equivalent
