Job Summary
Private Client Banker at Chase in Belleville, MI provides hospitality-driven service to Chase’s affluent clients and branch clients, managing complete banking relationships with an advice-based approach to recommend products and services, actively acquiring new clients through referrals, educating clients on technology solutions (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, ATMs), and collaborating with a team of experts to address specialized financial needs while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role requires at least 1+ year of financial services sales experience, a high school degree or equivalent, and relevant licensing or the ability to obtain licenses (SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration, Life licenses) within 180 days; must be able to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings. Preferred qualifications include a college degree or military equivalent, experience with affluent clients, and familiarity with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act requirements and NMLS registration.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in Financial Services sales experience with proven success in acquiring new clients, deepening relationships, and revenue generation
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses though JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators (NMLS registration and compliance)
