Job Summary
Private Client Banker at a Chase branch in Overland Park, KS, serves as the main contact for a select group of affluent clients, managing full banking relationships, proactively generating growth, acquiring new clients through referrals, and coordinating with specialists to connect clients with experts. responsibilities include advising on the best products/services, promoting self-service access 24/7, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and delivering education tailored to customers' financial needs. Strong emphasis on relationship-building, regulatory knowledge, and long-term career with the firm; must be able to work weekends/evenings and meet licensing and registration requirements (SIE, FINRA Series 6/7, state licenses, and NMLS if applicable). The role requires excellent communication, a client-centric approach, and collaboration with internal teams to enhance the customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation
- Beginning Oct. 1, 2018, if you are not currently registered, the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses are required - or must be successfully completed within 180 days of starting the role
- Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act*
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
- Preferred qualifications not required to apply (see description)
