Job Summary
Private Client Advisor II at Bank of America focuses on acquiring new clients, deepening relationships, and achieving business development goals within Private Bank. Leads the Client Management Process, delivers a Branded Client Experience, facilitates access to Private Bank capabilities, and aims for client retention. Responsibilities include understanding clients’ needs, wealth strategy, and offering integrated recommendations across wealth structuring, credit facilities, banking, and asset management; may involve residential mortgage loan origination subject to SAFE Act registration; emphasizes digital adoption and collaboration with internal/external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Series 7, 63 and 65 (or Series 7 and 66)
- 12+ years of private banking and/or complex financial services experience or equivalent financial services/business experience
- Ability to drive new business development for target client segment ($3MM++ investable assets)
- Ability to present to clients a holistic approach, leveraging the entire Private Bank platform
- High touch, client-focused individual with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Leader who recognizes opportunities for client engagement and proactively acts upon them for the betterment of the client
- Ability to influence; proactively asks for and closes business
- Solutions oriented; sales and financial aptitude a must
- Must be a skilled negotiator
- Ability to work with and identify the need for team specialists; collaborate closely with other team members
- Takes on a leadership role on the team and within the business community
- MBA or Post-Graduate Degree CFP, CPA, CFA, CTFA, CFM or JD a significant plus
