Private Business Tax Manager

Job Summary
Own a diverse portfolio of client engagements for privately owned businesses and private equity portfolio companies, advising on complex UK and overseas tax technical affairs. Manage all aspects of client relationships while developing significant market connections and collaborating across the firm to deliver solutions for varied projects. Maintain an expert level of tax knowledge by tracking legislative changes and working with national networks. This role requires an ACA or CTA qualification and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will help lead a growing team, coach stakeholders, and maintain trusted long-term relationships. Work flexibly across office, home, and client sites with access to private medical cover.
Required Qualifications
- ACA and/or CTA qualification (or international equivalent)
- Relevant and up-to-date UK (and some overseas) tax knowledge
- Varied experience of more complex tax issues facing privately or family-owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies and business owners
- Project management skills - able to manage several client projects simultaneously
- Stakeholder management and coaching ethos
- Excellent written communication - including reports, technical memos

- Managing all aspects of the client relationship with privately or family owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies and business owners on a broad range of complex matters
- Projects will be varied and wide ranging working in close collaboration with national networks
