Job Summary
Private Banking Team Lead sought to manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients across the Peninsula and greater Bay Area. Lead responsibilities include serving as primary relationship manager for multi-million-dollar portfolios, proactively building a new client base via networks and internal referrals, delivering customized lending, deposits, treasury, investment referral, financial planning, and insurance solutions, structuring and underwriting credit opportunities (e.g., residential mortgages, HELOCs, securities-based lending, select CRE loans), collaborating with internal teams to maximize cross-sell and retention, and representing the firm in market development activities. Senior candidates may advance to an Area Leader role overseeing private bankers across Northern California and contributing to regional strategy alongside executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 6 or more years in private banking, wealth management, or commercial banking, with a demonstrated track record of new business development and portfolio growth
- Strong technical proficiency in credit structuring, deposit gathering, and investment and financial planning referral strategies
- Proven ability to generate fee-based revenue in a relationship-driven environment
- Series 7
- Series 63 and 65 (or equivalent)
- California Life Insurance License
