Private Banking Officer (12-month contract)

Job Summary
Support the delivery of an exceptional customer experience to private banking clients by identifying needs, discussing requirements, and making referrals to branch and regional teams. Ensure compliance and operational effectiveness while assisting in preparing new business proposals and presentations. Take ownership of client inquiries and concerns to ensure timely resolution, and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations. Review overdraft and monitoring reports with Private Bankers, taking measured risks within approved frameworks to protect assets. Complete complex tasks including credit and non-credit activities, adhering to all banking regulations and security procedures. Participate in audits and escalate irregularities to management as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of personal (primarily) and commercial credit and non-credit products, monitoring/operational processes and applications
- Basic knowledge of the Lending Process and supporting policies
- Basic knowledge of loan and security documentation, including registration and renewal routine
