Private Banker

Job Summary
Originate and manage portfolios of commercial and private loans, deposits, and investments for affluent members. Present the Private Bank Relationship Program to targeted community groups and lead client relationship building in collaboration with Investment Services and Member Business Services teams. Provide expert guidance using a goals-based, approach, promptly address member concerns, and cross-sell services while leveraging credit union resources to drive deposit, loan, and investment growth. Maintain high asset quality and solidify long-term relationships with select credit union members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Minimum two years of experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management (or equivalent relationship management role)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume financial service and sales environment with proven success in portfolio growth and client retention
- Full-time hours required
- Additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects
- A quiet workplace so you can focus on delivering excellent service to our members
- Power and high-speed internet over 100MB (minimum)
- Video capability (connection of 1.5 Mbps up and down recommended)
- Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training
- Hybrid candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to regularly commute to and from the office location as needed
- Functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act
- Knowledge of other Federal laws, including but not limited to the U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act
