Job Summary
Assess potential lending solutions by evaluating client financial profiles, analyzing proposed collateral, and determining alignment with approved Ultra High Net Worth Lending Programs. Perform due diligence on financial and non-financial information, identify key risks and mitigants, and propose effective deal structures. Draft and negotiate term sheets in coordination with Private Bankers and Wealth Financial Advisors, preparing credit memoranda that outline transaction purpose, strengths, risks, and terms. Manage the transaction cycle through credit approval, documentation, and closing while balancing client expectations and active deal pipelines. Meet with clients and branch teams to develop relationships, identify opportunities, and enhance product awareness. Mentor junior colleagues and undertake projects to improve team operating efficiencies.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years minimum of private bank lending experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Comfortable reading and interpreting corporate and personal financial statements
- High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate your assessment in a clear and professional manner
- Maintain poise and presence coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships with sophisticated clients
- Significant accounting and finance knowledge
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage client expectations
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- Alternative asset lending experience preferred
- Master's degree
- CFA designation
