Job Summary
Vice President, Private Bank Legal Group – Wealth Management Product Lawyer. Provide specialist derivatives, structured products and cash trading coverage to JP Morgan Private Bank across Europe, the Middle East and Africa; engage with Structuring and Trading teams to deliver legal guidance on the sale and distribution of derivatives and structured products; advise on regulatory developments and ensure compliant documentation (ISDA Master Agreements, structured product programmes, F&O agreements); support equity and fixed income trading activities including IPO distribution and secondary sales; oversee policy development and risk controls for new products; liaise with Compliance and Risk Management and external counsel; collaborate across regions to support global clients and trading desks.
Required Qualifications
- England-qualified lawyer
- minimum 4 years experience in derivatives and structured products
- excellent knowledge of UK and EU regulatory environment
- familiarity with ISDA Master Agreements and structured products
- ability to manage external counsel and negotiate complex transactions
- strong drafting and negotiation skills
- ability to build relationships with business and legal teams
- ability to provide practical legal solutions in a global financial institution
- experience with EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and MiFID II
