Job Summary
Senior Private Bank Investment Strategist will join the Global Investment Strategy Team to develop and deliver the CIO View for Asian markets. Responsible for contributing to daily/weekly publications conveying investment strategy; researching and understanding multiple asset classes (equities across Asia, fixed income, commodities, and alternatives); creating high-conviction ideas aligned with the CIO view, supported by fundamentals and technicals; leveraging own research and industry sources to inform investment recommendations. Requires an advanced economics degree (CFA qualifications preferred), 4-8 years in investment management or capital markets, proficiency with Bloomberg/Refinitiv and other data providers, strong written communication, and comfort with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong work ethic, deadlines-driven, and collaborative teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Economics (Macro Economics/International Economics)
- CFA qualifications preferred
- 4-8 years of relevant work experience in investment management, especially in Capital Markets and Strategy
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg and Refinitiv
- Ability to consume and communicate state-of-the-art financial market research
- Familiarity with data providers (IMF, OECD, central banks, etc.)
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Team-oriented with collaborative mindset
