Job Summary
Senior Associate, Private Bank Events: leads end-to-end client events in the Southern California region, developing event strategy aligned with business goals and JP Morgan Private Bank brand standards. Responsible for conceiving event concepts, proposing venues and content, managing events from start to finish (calendar, budgets, vendor negotiations, invoices, materials), overseeing onsite staffing (registration, materials distribution, AV needs, speaker coordination), and tracking RSVPs with ROI analysis. Collaborates with global events and marketing teams, bankers, product partners, and senior management to ensure a distinctive client experience and cross-sell opportunities. Requires strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills, excellent communication, ability to travel, and flexibility for early morning and late-evening events.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years prior experience in event management related activities
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work early morning and late evening events and ability to travel
- Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly amongst a variety of personalities
- Excellent organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
- Prior experience in financial services (preferred)
