Job Summary
Oversee daily private aviation operations at Orlando Executive Airport, ensuring safe, efficient service for aircraft owners, charter operators, and corporate flight departments. Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance personnel, ground handlers, and administrative staff while establishing staffing plans and operational procedures. Monitor operational efficiency, manage the location's operating budget, and analyze market trends to drive business growth. Serve as the primary escalation point for customer concerns, maintain compliance with FAA regulations and safety policies, and build relationships with key aviation partners. This on-site leadership role requires flexibility for after-hours support and occasional travel to support regional business development.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid A&P
- Degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in private aviation, FBO, aircraft ground handling, charter, corporate aviation, or aviation operations
- Previous management or supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of private aviation operations and customer service
- Working knowledge of FAA and airport operational requirements
