Job Summary
Design and operationalize privacy programs by developing policies, governance models, and technology-enabled solutions for client engagements. Lead gap assessments, map data flows, and configure privacy platforms for capabilities like DSAR automation, data discovery, and consent management. Translate regulatory requirements into practical controls while acting as a strategic advisor to build and enhance privacy frameworks across new jurisdictions. Mentor junior consultants, prepare independent deliverables, and communicate assessment findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Travel up to 60% for client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of total professional experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience delivering privacy gap assessments or privacy technology implementation
- Strong working knowledge of Privacy regulations & key principles (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of Privacy related frameworks (i.e., NIST Privacy Framework)
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage engagements from planning through reporting with limited oversight
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting observations and explaining results to diverse audiences
- Be willing to travel up to 60% as required for client engagements
- Demonstrate strong business writing skills to develop clear and professional client deliverables
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders including senior management, C-suite leaders, and regulators
- Apply critical thinking and analytical problem-solving to complex privacy and data protection challenges
- Thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment while managing multiple priorities
- Adapt to evolving regulatory requirements, privacy risks and emerging technology considerations
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- One or more relevant professional certifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, CISA, or similar)
- Certified or implementation experience in a privacy or related platform (e.g., OneTrust, TrustArc, etc.)
- Experience assessing or advising on: Privacy regulations
- Experience assessing or advising on: Privacy and data protection programs
- Experience developing or supporting integrations between technology platforms and enterprise systems, including: Writing scripts
- Experience developing or supporting integrations between technology platforms and enterprise systems, including: Working with APIs
- Experience developing or supporting integrations between technology platforms and enterprise systems, including: Designing and troubleshooting data flows
- Experience developing or supporting integrations between technology platforms and enterprise systems, including: Supporting automation or configuration logic
