Job Summary

Reporting to the Privacy Manager, the Privacy Program Intern supports the organization’s data privacy program by coordinating workflows, reviewing intake materials, and assisting with program operations. The intern will identify missing information, flag potential concerns, and escalate items for further review as needed. The role provides hands-on experience across governance, data handling, individual rights, training and awareness, and program tracking, including coordinating vendor questionnaires, contractor intake, and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), tracking intake workflows, supporting the Information Governance Committee, maintaining visibility into data inventory and retention, and assisting with privacy-related workflows, metrics, and roadmap tracking. The position emphasizes analytical review, attention to detail, and collaboration across departments, with opportunities for mentorship and skills development in privacy, compliance, and information governance.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Demonstrated interest in privacy, compliance, information governance, or a related field preferred
  • Prior experience in administrative, coordination, compliance, or analytical support roles is a plus
