Job Summary
Establish and manage the enterprise-wide Privacy Program, defining policies, standards, and controls aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), GDPR, and ISO 27701. Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments for new products, cloud deployments, AI initiatives, and third-party integrations to identify risks and drive remediation. Lead regulatory compliance monitoring, gap assessments, and readiness activities for RBI audits, internal reviews, and external inspections. Oversee data lifecycle controls governing collection, usage, retention, sharing, and deletion, while managing data subject rights requests and consent frameworks. Evaluate third-party privacy risks, develop incident response procedures, and deliver privacy training to product, engineering, and business teams. Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and ensure privacy-by-design principles are embedded across organizational processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, Risk Management, or related discipline
- 15+ years of experience in Privacy, Information Security, Compliance, Risk Management, Data Governance, or related domains
- Demonstrated experience building and managing enterprise privacy programs
- Experience within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Payments, Technology, or other highly regulated industries
- Strong understanding of privacy regulations, privacy governance frameworks, and data protection principles
- Experience supporting regulatory audits and compliance assessments
