Privacy & Information Security Risk Management Analyst II

Privacy & Information Security Risk Management Analyst II responsible for leveraging the Sutter Health governance, risk management, and compliance platform to conduct and validate technical security reviews and risk assessments in alignment with security controls and regulatory requirements. Serves as a technical advisor to security leadership, IS departments, and business units; leads resolution of complex security issues and develops/updates security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Provides security training to IS staff through new-hire orientation and regular department training; performs technical security research and translates findings into actionable input for the IS program. This role requires coordinating with stakeholders in a hybrid work arrangement (regular in-office attendance) and maintaining strong knowledge of security concepts, controls, and regulatory requirements. The position expects 40 hours weekly with a Monday–Friday schedule; base pay ranges from $86,216 to $129,334.40 annually and may vary by location.
