Job Summary
Keep people safe during court proceedings by escorting detainees to court, supervising hearings, and maintaining security. Perform searches, monitor detainee behaviour, manage sensitive situations, and maintain accurate records. Training provided through a 5.5-week paid course with ongoing support; role requires flexibility for shift work and potential overtime; candidate must hold or be eligible for UK driving license and pass safeguarding/DBS checks. Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence (B/B1) (desirable)
- Reasonable fitness for the physical demands of the role
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure
- Confidence managing behaviour and de-escalating conflict
- Teamwork and the ability to follow processes accurately
- Professionalism, integrity, and respect for confidentiality
